Juliana Scarf

JULIANA SCARF is a unisex garment, 100% vicuña fiber. It was made by the artisan JULIA FAUSTINA GUTIERREZ from Laguna Blanca, Argentina.
The vicuña fiber used was obtained in 2022, in wild shearing in Peñas Frias (10,500 feet above sea level).
The ancestral technique used in this garment is called "partridge's eye", one of the most complex techniques for weaving vicuña wool. The making of JULIANA SCARF took approximately 4 months of work and was made 100% by hand.
This garment has fiber traceability and authentication certificate with a unique identification number granted by the Government of Catamarca, Argentina.
